Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I was inspired to start this after reading (for many hours) my good friend Meredith's blog. She had me laughing, crying, and feeling inspired to write down my experiences. Thanks Mere!

I do want to start off by saying that I am not a "housewife." I would love to be one, however I do work as a teacher full time. When I was choosing my blog title, I decided if the women on the show, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" could have jobs and call themselves a housewife, so could I! I often feel like I am pulling "double duty" in my life and that my life might, just might, be a tad more "realistic" than the women on TV. But, I am just guessing.

I am excited to take this new venture and hope that many of our friends and family from far away can follow our lives and watch my children grow up through this process as well! Please join us on our journey!
