Heard in our house today

This morning Emma came bouncing into our bedroom.As I helped her onto our bed (our fabulous, cal-King, super comfy bed, that I could sleep in forever) she excitedly said, "Happy Mother's Day Mommy!" To which I replied, "Thank you Emma!" To which Emma then said, "Now you tell me Happy Emma's Day Emma!" Oh my...that girl is funny!



While playing the V-Tech this morning, Dylan grabbed the string on his remote and put it around his wrist. Emma asked what he was doing. After he explained, she examined hers and said, " Oh, I don't have a wrist." Again...that girl is funny.



What a splendid day to be a mom! We had a fabulous brunch at our house with friends, I picked up my new bicycle, received beautiful picture frames from my children and a Vanilla Bean frappucinno this morning, did a little shopping during naptime, and now I can't wait for them to wake up so we can take a bike ride together. We have sun, smiles, and lots of snuggles to still be had on this day. Being a mom is a wonderful thing!
